Bellevue, Washington - (July 29, 2009) – Guidant Financial Group’s Co-Founder and President Jeremy Ames is being honored by the Puget Sound Business Journal’s “40 under 40,” an awards program that spotlights the top young business leaders regionally. Ames was chosen as one of 40 honorees for his demonstration of social responsibility and professional success. He will be recognized at an awards ceremony on September 15th at the Seattle Repertory Theatre.
Ames achievements, business highlights and individual philosophy are spotlighted in the next publication with a full-color photograph. A strong believer in supporting the greater community, he serves as chair of Guidant’s Social Commitment Committee, which enables Guidant staff to choose charitable projects in which to deploy staff time and company resources. Guidant has donated countless hours to local causes such as Rebuilding Together, SCORE, Race for the Cure, YWCA, Sibling House and Northwest Harvest.
“If I have been able to accomplish significant things, it is because of the support and contributions of my friends, family and the people I work with every day.” Ames continued, “I am aware that I am in a position where I receive recognition for the accomplishments of a multitude of talented people. I owe this honor to them."
Founded in 2003, Guidant has emerged as a leader in self-directed IRAs and small business financing. In 2008 Guidant was the only company in their industry be honored as a member of the Inc 500 fastest growing private companies. Ames recognized Guidant’s team members as the major contributors to the company’s success. “As someone who was an unlikely entrepreneur myself, I’m proud to be a part of a team (Guidant) that believes that anyone who puts their mind to it can achieve their dreams for business and retirement success. “
