On February 1, 2008 a group of Guidant Financial Group employees paid a visit to a local high school that has a unique program for teens with high functioning autism. One of the biggest challenges that these kids face is simple day-to-day interaction with other people in social situations. A great way to improve these skills is to watch themselves in mock scenarios or vignettes that the kids create themselves. The students also videotape these skits and edit them, using advanced editing software, to turn them into fun movies and skits to be reviewed later as a part of the learning process.
