Guidant Financial Named Eastside Small Business of the Year 2016

Last week, the Bellevue, Washington Chamber of Commerce held its annual Eastside Business Awards ceremony, and we’re excited to announce Guidant Financial was chosen among 13 nominees as the Eastside Small Business of the Year!

We knew going into it that we’d be up against some stiff competition, including a virtual reality company, a cloud-based contract management company, a coworking space and a luxury salon. But thanks to our demonstrated entrepreneurial spirit and dedication to excellence and innovation, Guidant was named as the Small Business of the Year (less than 100 employees).

“[The nominees’] determination, innovation, industriousness and generosity embody the Eastside’s entrepreneurial spirit,” said Betty Capestany, President and CEO, Bellevue Chamber of Commerce. “This dedication to excellence drives our business community every day, leading to job growth and economic vitality.”

We’re in good company. Other winners include:

  • MOD Pizza, fast-casual pizza restaurant (Business of the Year)
  • VRstudios, Inc., virtual reality development platform (Innovative Service of the Year)
  • Quantyzed, testing platform for mobile applications (Start-up of the Year)
